I have had a VPS / VDS service since 2012 and have received nothing but excellent service. The response time is very quick and and client issues are dealt with effectively. Nothing is too much trouble and guys like Cameron on the Tech Support side are the people that give Host Geek a solid reputation. I had a similar service with another Aussie provider for 10 years before Host Geek. When they could not provide what I needed to host WordPress sites I moved over to Host Geek and don't regret it. I have been using the services of a number of hosting services over the past 15 years, with quite a complex setup. After an incident with my previous hosting left me looking for a new service, I was delighted to find a locally-based, national hosting service - HostGeek.
Given the complexity of my existing set up with the existing hosting service, I was not looking forward to the migration process.
I shouldn't have been worried. With the very excellent work by Mark in the Technical team, HostGeek not only developed a much friendlier, easy-to-manage set up for my hosting requirements but then took control of the migration until everything was set up to my satisfaction.
There have been a few teething issues along the way but they have been resolved quickly and with minimal interruption to my business.
I am a small business owner without the time, skills or inclination to set all of this stuff in place and to migrate from the existing service. Thankfully, HostGeek took the lead and delivered in spades!
